The silly corona season is still on ..... but baby bear don't care!

Posted by Mervi on August 31, 2020 at 12:15 PM

Dear friends! This Summer has been very 'strange' and the Autumn is going to be the same. However, better times will come even if we must wait with lots of patience! But Patience is our middle name so let's enjoy the late Summer and the Autumn!

Danke fuer die LINKs.

MERVI - I can very well understand that tears come into your eyes when you hear, the more as it's obviously a personal memory for you. And this man sang it very beautifully:I would like to hear YOU sind it with your wonderfull dark voice!
Could you tell us the contents in simple words?

May be that's worth to have a closer look on it:
(At the moment I don't have got the necessary time . . .)

Seems the Finns have nice songs AND nice voices . . .

I think Sisu would not stay in Ranua forever. There are enough adult males in the zoos. Maybe we will learn the news soon.
It is cold outside. I drink a pot of Herkules now.

Good morning! Guten Morgen!

Chris - Thanks for the laughs! The video is really funny. :D - I know that song very well. It's one of my favourite Christmas songs. The lyrics is very beautiful and always brings tears in my eyes.

Ludmila, Ralph - The ZOOM would be a possible home for Anori. - I'm worried about my Sisu. I hope he stay in Ranua at least for another year. There's no male bear coming to join Venus as far as I know.

Hertha had her birthday on the 1st of December. Monika couldn't visit the Tierpark on that day but she has posted many photos taken during the last weeks. You can meet TONJA AND HERTHA in KWM today.

Have a fine Friday and a good start of the weekend! Take care!

I did not think on ZOOM. I do not know why the zoo would take the second female, but it is possible.
Let us drink on Raspi, Luka and Anori

Now that Nanook has left home, Gelsenkirchen has room for another female to join Lara and Bill (the Zoo had Fanny and Elvis at one point living there). Now that Luka is in YWP Anori could go there. It is a great place and only a short drive from Wuppertal.

Ludmila - Thanks for the information about Luka. I wish him all the best in his new home.

Annemarie - Thank you for the email!

Chris - The video shows a very curious Raspi examining his new surroundings and he seems to be glad about what he sees. He looks very handsome with a fantastic fur! - I can picture the fantastic sight of flying swans!

Today we had some glimpse of sun in the afternoon.
So I was out after shopping. I met many swans at :)
the river. One pair with white youngsters and
one pair with grey kids. In the end they flew
away - a mejestic sight in the evening....

I hope, you are well and healthy in Hungary !?

ANNEMARIE - ich trinke etwas mit dir. :)

MERVI - bist Du beim Wintersport ? ;)

Its tea time - or maybe a Jagertee ?

Today FIETE celebrates his 6th birthday so let's sing 'Happy birthday to you, sweet Fiete'. I was lucky to meet him 'live' twice in Rostock. I hope his doing fine and I also hope the keepers have arranged something special for him.

Good morning! Guten Morgen! Foggy and rainy - no snow in sight - sigh! :D

Chris, Ludmila - You're the early bears today. I hope the Herkules was strong enough to quarantee a good start of this day. :D

Evi visited RASPI ON HIS FIRST DAY OUTDOORS in Tallinn and her photos and even a video are now in KWM. What a wonderful surprise this was for me!

I wish everybody a pleasant TDT! Take care! Soon I'm off to the ski loops again - this time it's biathlon. :D

Chris - Wow, this was the first time I heard young, very young Bob Dylan! - The orang baby is adorable!

Ralph - The Christmas used to begin with a trip to Berlin. I miss the lights and decorations and, naturally, our meeting in Zur Kneipe. Well, maybe one day in the future ....

Annemarie - I sent you an email. I hope Uncle Sergej's IC or maybe his egg toddy made you feel warmer.

Ludmila - An IC is coming to you!

The pictures of Kai.in Knutis Weekly are so lovely. He has food and toys galore. The keepers in Novosibirsk really know how to make the best of their Polar Bears.
This week in the old days we would have been thinking.about travelling to Berlin for Knutis birthday. Now these memories keep us warm in these dark days.
