Let's hope the year 2019 will be a happy year for us all!

Dear friends! It's time again to welcome a new year. Although it sounds naive to wish peace in the world I wish it anyway! I also wish that the world leaders will finally open their eyes and realize what's happening to our planet. Of course, I even wish all my friends - those with two legs and those with four legs - a very happy new year!

Hello dear Knuipians!

@ Mervi
Thank you for the news in the KWM. I will it read later.

Hello friends at coffee time!
The sun is shining and it is about 0°C.
We have the huge fields not far away. If we would not get the clouds, we will try to see the mond on Monday about 6am.
I drink a pot of Herkules with you.

Good morning! Guten Morgen! Dear fluffy angel - the sun is shining and there's some snow on the ground so it looks a bit 'Januarish'. :D Have a good time with your friends at the rowing club!

Chris - I don't know Martina personally but she lives near Gelsenkirchen and visits the zoo often. She loves polar bears and is very glad about Ralph's reports. -

Yeo - Thank you for the breakfast. I need it now that I did some household work. :D

Ludmila - Maybe the traffic will run better in the afternoon.

In KWM you'll find some news of LYNN AND HER CUBBIE in Copenhagen. I wish everybody a pleasant Friday!

Its sunny again - it looks like a nice day ! :)

I´ll have some last shopping and round
noon a meeting with friends at the :)
rowing club...cleaning and working.
(no rowing - water level is too high)

I wish everybody a pleasant Friday and
a good start to the coming weekend ! :)

The sun is shining, we got a bit of the snow. That's why we spent an hour in the traffic jam today :)

MERVI - I noticed Martinas comment, but I don´t know, who she is ?.
We have the nice stary night with a rising moon - sunday is fullmoon.

Chris - I think Jägertee is a very suitable drink this evening.

Britta-Gudrun - I hope you can have a good beauty sleep with sweet dreams.

Ralph - I'm very glad about Martina's comments in KWM, too!

Ludmila - How would you like your evening tea? Mit oder ohne Schuss? :D

It is time for the drink

I have had a busy day with friends and also acquired a little cuddly Polar Bear from my Animal Charity Shop.
I am glad that Martina, who lives near Zoo, has enjoyed my stories from there. I hope to visit again in April.
I am off to London to meet an old friend tomorrow and look at models of planes etc.
I am in the Oxford Library and will be returning home to use the Knuphone later and have a good night drink with Uncle Sergei and the Cotswold bears.

Guten Abend!

MERVI - my timing was perfect.
As I arrived from my tour, ice rain
started - it was very windy at the
river - but I had an hour of sun. :)

The normal lower class people of UK
never leave their country - they don´t
know anything about Europe. They
believe the lies of the media or un-
honest politicians. The other
people are in sorrow about
the Brexit - especially many
scientists. England can´t win
nothing with the Brexit.
And for Europe its bad too !
Much bureaucracy and un-
necessary costs & duties...

Its tea time now - maybe with
a "Schuß" of "Stroh-Rum"... :D

It's snowing here today!! - I'm impressed by how quickly they managed to 'clear' the skiing tracks in Ruhpolding. I guess people have been working day and night to fix such good conditions.

Britta-Gudrun - I hope you managed well with arrangements for more guests than expected.

Ralph - What a pity you've 'only' had statesmen like Winston Churchill ..... :D

Chris - I don't think an average Englishman/woman hates France and/or Germany. When people voted for or against Brexit they simply didn't know exactly what they were voting for. I wonder how many people in the other EU-member countries would know ....

Ludmila - I join you and have a Herkules and maybe a teeny weeny slice of a cream cake. :D

Hello friends at coffee time!
We had a sunny morning, now the clouds arrived again.

RALPH - I think, democracy is "auf den Hund gekommen", as we would say.
England has to solve his own problems at first - there is nothing, we as
Europeans could do. You wanted to leave, please leave now ! But
the government and the parliament isn´t able, to make a decision
and thats poor in my eyes - sorry. I don´t know, why Britains
hate France and Germany so much. Maybe its a kind of
"Minderwertigskeitskomplex" towards the continent...

We have a sunny day - so I´ll go out at first and
will read and post more in the afternoon !
See you all later in this theater... :)

Ludmila I am sorry that Europe finds our Parliament so chaotic. Perhaps it is something to do with never having had great statesmen like those in Germany and France to teach us poor English how to do Democracy in an "orderly" way. I am sure we will get the hang of it eventually...
