Am using a computer at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Berlin after a busy first day.
The journey out was very smooth and BN and Katited are of course with me.
A new bear made out of enamel and gilt joined us on the way from Tegel to the Zoo.
We got to Kati just after 11. She was at first snoozing in her hole. Later she got up to walk around her area and scratch herself against the rocks. She was very interested in the visitors. There were a lot of people from Britain and I was able to talk to two women from Yorkshire and tell them all about Kati.
At about 120 Bearnini arrived and gave Mr Roebke a Christmas Tree for Kati. He threw it down to her, but she was a bit disappointed that it was not food. Though by the time we left she had started examining it.
Kati is in great shape and I think Mr Roebke is a pleased with her as with his two famous charges who now take up a lot of his time.
By 2 I had checked into the hotel and started some serious shopping.
In the evening I came back to the hotel through the Christmas market which has been completely remodelled. Sadly the stall with my little Polar Bear drinking a Gluhwein has gone, which left me briefly feeling very angry.
Now I am preparing for tomorrow. I shall go and see Wolodja and try and find out how Tonja is getting on. It is sad that we are not meeting at the Kneipe tomorrow night, but I am seeing an old friend so the time will be well spent.
I am off to read Monikas report in KWM

Chris - Milana looks very white and fluffy and she has exactly as round body as a polar bear lady should have. :D

Annemarie - I wish you a pleasant journey to Berlin. Please, forward my best greetings to Sherwin and all my friend you meet there.

Britta-Gudrun - We'll have our own Knut meeting right here in our Knuipe. On Saturday there's a meeting at the Kartoffekeller in Europa Center and we'll be there, too, in spirit. :D It would have been great to have a 'Zur Kneipe' evening as well - maybe we can fix it again next year.

Yeo - I wish you strength on this sad day. I hope you can remember all the good moments with your father.

Patricia - How good to meet you here again! I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I hope there will be some light in the end of tunnel soon. - Thank you for the advice of the cats' food!

Dumba, Britta-Gudrun, Ludmila, Teddybärenmutti, Bärgit - Mimmi has been eating and drinking very well today. I hope she can keep on with that so we can relax.

I was so tired after the 'night shift' so I had to take a nap. Now things are looking good!

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Relief, Mimmi is enjoying the yummy things you put into her bowl!

Thank you for missing us and spoiling us with your fantastic Reiseproviant it should I call it Trostpflästerchen?

There was snow in the morning. Thank God, it didn't stay on the roads.

Good afternoon Dear All,
Dear Yeo, please accept my sincere condolences for the passing-away of your father. I am wishing you all strength these days.
Dear Mervi, good to read that Mimmi is again eating better. The situation reminds me a little of the problems I had with Christobal. Believe me, it needs its time and often you will feel sad and worried. With regard to the kidneys, nowadays, there are a few good brands offering special kidney food, but the most important things is to avoid giving meat (actually proteins are too heavy).
Dear All, I cannot react to all of you because I just lack the courage and the energy. It is now more than 1,5 years that I have constant pain and that the doctors do not find the cause. Result: I ended up in a ?good? depression?. I try to live my life (or better said what is left over of it). I am trying to read and to follow as much as I can.
By the way, Winter has arrived in Belgium and definitely in Leuven: it is seriously snowing at the moment and it is ice-cold.

Yeo - Ich umarme Dich. Heute ist ein trauriger Tag. Viel Kraft.

Mervi - An Mimmi weiter gute Besserung.

Hier ist es so grau.
