I want to thank you all for the year that's gone and I hope you'll be here with me even next yer! Lots of things happened during the year and I made a short summary with a couple of flashbacks.

Ludmila - It seems to me your cats are having a peaceful period for the time being. :D

Chris - I hope the tea made you warm again. It's good to know your bird friends are doing fine in spite of the ice.

Britta-Gudrun - Uncle Sergej has prepared an after-massage drink for you. Isn't that kind? :D - Sometimes people are miraculously rescued after many days.

Annemarie - I can understand it's not easy to switch from the party mood to the office mood. However, I hope you got through the day well! :D

Hello Dear Alle!

Mervi - Blue or grey, Nordic sticks or cosy couch?
Well, I'd rather have the latter but in the morning the shredder lust got me going and soon it'll be Tommi damanding his share of my attention :D

Britta-Gudrun - Deine Nachsicht-Ansicht findet meine volle Unterstützung!

Whenever I visit KWM or Knuipe on my smartphone, I'm more or less a silent reader, too. The small keys and the captcha code business are preventing me from writing. And I can only look at the current page of Knuipe. I don't know if that is up to my digital stupidity or if that is Mr.Server induced.....

Concerning the puppies in the hotel, I assume they belonged to the hotel people. I can't imagine anyone traveling with young doggies and their mum / parents.

Chris - Du bist eine wahre Ornithologin.
Ich könnte die Unterschiede nicht benennen.

Annemarie-Berta - Welcome home!

GUTEN MITTAG

Back from the river - we have ice, but its not more, as yesterday.
So I think, its no problem for the birds. In the end of the week
it´ll be warmer in our region. Today we had many, many
Blässrallen from the smaller rivers and ditches. :)
Also Reiherenten and Seagulls. The Seagulls
were resting on the ice, what looks funny.
The Swans were there and Nilgeese.
But no Canada Geese today.
We have no sun the first
day since 10 days or so.
But no planes, its quiet.

Now I need a hot tea!
Its pretty cold outside. :)

Hello friends at coffee time!
Mervi
Polar bear babies grow. I am looking for meeting Tonya and her kid in Berlin :)
Maybe we will manage to visit Giovanna too.

Viel Spass bei der Massage

Today is Tuesday, Monday is over. I had a difficult day yesterday with a business trip.

How is your work improving? Does DeeDee help you with the letuce?
In the last weeks Sydney is a friend of Wasja. They go out together. Ferdi noticed that Uwe does not like him attacking Wasja. Ferdi lefts the kitchen if Uwe comes inside. Muffin does not care what we like or not. Sometimes she attacks Wasja next to us. We have no injuries in the last time.

Bärgit - I'm sure there are lots of people wanting to offer a home to the rescued puppies.

Inge - It really is depressing to read and hear how people are destroying our planet.

Chris - The photo of the earth is magnificant. When will people learn to respect their planet?

Dumba - Thank you for the hearty breakfast! I still eat in the morning - no matter what the so called expert said. :D

Britta-Gudrun - I'm sure you'll be feeling great after the massage! :D

Chris, Britta-Gudrun - I'm really glad that our Knuipe is a peaceful place where we can discuss things in a civilized matter. Of course, we have to let some steam out every now and then but it goes over very quickly. I certainly need some 'steaming out' occasionally .... :D

Ludmila - thanks for the Herkules. It smells great!

Annemarie - I hope you had a good Berlin trip!

Yesterday we could admire Tonja's baby boy and today we can do the same with Giovanna and her cubbie - in KWM, of course!

I wish everybody a very pleasant Tuesday!

BRITTA GUDRUN

Wir sind doch alle sehr nachsichtig.
Verglichen mit anderen Foren ist das
hier super harmonisch und ein äußerst
gepflegter Dialog. Was einen nicht hindert
auch mal einmal im halben Jahr Dampf ab-
zulassen. Das dient der Reinigung und ist
besser, als wenn irgendwo unten was gärt.
Es setzt natürlich eine gewisse Kritikfähig-
keit aller voraus - aber das wird schon... ;)

Guten Morgen!

INGE - the situation with the plastic in the oceans is
very bad - but also in our rivers and lakes. The plastic
is everywhere, because its in cosmetica and medicine
and so on. It is a serious problem for our mankind !

A late and short message from Copenhagen. Good night from the everstarving and me.

I visited "The blue Planet" this evening to hear and see something about the situation with Plastic in the oceans, on the beaches and in our nature generally. www.plasticchange.org. Depressing.

Dumba - If I were on the rescue team I'd be proud to offer at least one of the puppies a home.
I'm sure he little ones will find good homes. I hope they are with their mum (& dad?) now.
Tommi and Makani's dad wasn't too fond of his kids. They grew up with their mom, their aunties and uncles (just like in a wolves' pack). Daddy was closely watched to make sure he'd not harm his kids.
I think this behaviour parallels the one's of lions, polar bears etc.

Ludmila - Thank you for the snowy greetings from Berlin! The photo is great!

Chris - Enjoy solving a murder case with Barnaby! Yesterday we had after-ski so why not have an after-mystery drink this evening? :D

Bärgit - I think many human mothers have a lot to learn from their animal 'collegues'! :D

Just got back from the walks and my postponed lunch. I wasn't hungry then because I had eaten a couple of toasts before my knubby came home.

Ludmila - Welcome home!
I wonder whether the snow you saw on the trees is real snow or the so-called 'Industrieschnee'?

Chris - There's a saying:
In for a penny, in for a pound.
Dog people are well-aware of what they have signed in for when they get a doggie to live with them. After a while you live for them :D

Mervi - I have often asked myself why educating human cubbies is so stressy at certain points. As a polar bear or canine / feline etc mom the rules are pretty clear to the little ones.
They are attentive and demanding.

Dumba, Chris - When I found the news on the little puppies rescued five days after the terrible avalanche had hit the hotel, I just imagined the flood of adrenalin and joy that made the rescue teams keep going, trying to find people that might still be alive.
Paws crossed and prayers that this miracle will happen.

LUDMILA - we had such white trees in November, it looks beautiful. :)

MERVI - how about a late drink ? Ich sehe gerade einen älteren Barnaby.

You always try, to let everybody feel at home in Knuipe - its not easy to have a
blog so many years. Lets hope, it will be here for some years in the future! :)
