Dear friends! The Christmas time is here again! We have already got some early gifts - small polar bear babies. Even though we know not all of them will make it let's hope for the best!

Of course, there's also a little Advent story to go with this thread:

MERVI - Thank you for the new thread. You found a most pleasant motive
not only for the thread but also to say GOOD NIGHT - HAVE NICE DREAMS
e.g. of our 'ZauberBEAR'

It's unbelievable MALIK and LARS have produced 3 cubs 'auf einen Streich'!
One of them - the one in the middel - looks very helpless and thin - hopefully
this is only due to the perspective!

TOI - TOI - TOI - one for each of you little ones
and an extra TOI-TOI-TOI for the busy mother!

INGE aus Cph - Congratulations! for having been FIRST in this thread!
I am sorry to be so late today. It's because Internet didn't function and I was only
able to get in again since some minutes ago.

Wishing ALL/e of you a nice rest of this 1st Advent

Mervi, ja gerne, obwohl es nicht sehr kalt ist.
Aber zur Einstimmung auf den 1. Advent passt Gluehwein immer - Cheers!

Ludmila, Britta-Gudrun - How about a glass - or a mug - of Glühwein? Uncle Sergej also has some snacks.

Hello friends!
I wish you all a nice 1. Advent.
We were busy with all our decorations today :)

Thank you for the wonderful Christmas story.

I keep my fingers cross for polar bear cubs in Berlin and in Aalborg.

I think Tommi would like the snow

Bärgit - I hope it will be snowing only in KWM when it's time for us to visit Bärlin. :D

Dave - The Grey Cup certainly is a tradition. I wish your favourite team best of luck!

Chris - Kai is an adorable polar bear. It looks like he's wawing his paw to us in the video. :D

Thank you for the new thread. We also have lights
all over the City - Adventstime is here. :)
I was out for a little tour at the river.
The Fiete Story is lovely!

Good Morning.

Mervi - That is a nice collage with a resting Knut. Doris and Jesse always had nice photos of Knut.

Bargit - Misha is a very well trained dog with high energy. Her colour is not exactly white, but kind of copper red, light brown and yellow mixed with white. My knee always acts up when it is cold and damp weather.

We received a dusting of snow overnight and it is cold. Today is the day that I will put my summer toys away and get the winter stuff ready. The weather has been so nice up until last Friday that I kept putting it off.

It's nice to see all the new cubbies being born. I hope that they all make it. I don't think we'll see new cubs in Toronto for a while. All the bears are related and Inukshuk is in Cochrane indefinitely. He has sired 5 cubs. Twins Ganuk(M) and Taiga(F) with Aisaaqvak and the Toronto trio of Hudson, Humphrey and Juno with Aurora. I think he is still behind good old Lars in the kid department though.

Now I'm off to work outside and then later to a Grey Cup football party. The Grey Cup is the Canadian equivalent to the American Super Bowl, only it is the 104th Grey Cup compared to 50 Super Bowls.

Have a great day everyone.

Mervi - Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
But first let us go, let us go, let us go
on roads and trails to Berlin safely.

I like Fiete's snow flakes all over the place.
They won't do us harm, they only show their charm.

The pleasure of translating your priceless stories is all on my side.

I've been so excited about Malik's trio that I almost forgot our birthday bears - but only almost!

Happy birthday to Teddy Wolodja and sweet Luna!

Bärgit - thank you for the translation! As you have noticed it's much appreciated by our German friends. :D

Mervi - Thank you for the Grand Opening of Christmas Season!
And now it's even "Alle guten Dinge sind drei!" Best wishes for Malik and her little triplets.

Yes, Doris' picture of dreaming Knut is a very special one and so is your collage.
Thank you for the new thread and Fiete's snow flakes :)

Dave - Hope your knee will feel better soon.
Misha's welcoming you is heartwarming. Yes, a husky's joy cannot be topped.

Teddybärenmutti & Teddybärenvati - Liebe Grüße und viel Kraft.
Bei uns heißt es nicht von ungefähr Trauerarbeit. Sie ist schwierig, schmerzhaft, aber immer eine Chance zum Wachsen.

Good morning! Guten Morgen! Dear fluffy angel - let's wish everybody a happy 1st Advent!

Inge - Congratulations for being number one on this thread! Of course, you're richly rewarded - the Tirolean Mighty Bears Orchestra and Choir is coming to sing Christmas carols for you! :D

Filomena - Since you were number two the bears will sing for you, too! :D

I've been following Malik in the webcam and some minutes ago mama went away for a short moment and I could see there are THREE CUBBIES in the den! I made a couple of screen shots of the trio. They looked very 'active' for their age ....

I wish everybody a very happy, pleasant 1st Advent!

Dear Mervi, thanks a lot for the new thread and the very sweet collage.

Yes, lets cross out fingers and wish all we can for the small polar bears. Unfortunately the small ones in Skandinavisk Dyrepark did not made it. But all the best for Maliks and Lars small ones in Ålborg.

This weekend one can really see that christmas is on its way. Wonderful decorated all over the town.

Adventsgreetings from Copenhagen from Inge and the ever starving cats.
