Dear friends! The Christmas time is here again! We have already got some early gifts - small polar bear babies. Even though we know not all of them will make it let's hope for the best!

Of course, there's also a little Advent story to go with this thread:

MERVI - die Möven kommen nicht immer. ;)
Heute waren sie frech und haben den Enten
manchmal das Futter vor dem Schnabel weg
geschnappt. Aber es haben alle etwas gekriegt.

Knuti Judi - please tell us, when the cookies are baked. :)

Chris - How lovely it must have been to see the birdies!

Knuti-Judi - I'm so glad to hear the Al Man and Rose are doing fine and being playful! - I can smell the cookies already so I'm here already with my mouth open .... :D

Feeding of duckies and seagulls was successfull.
The seagulls take their food in the air. The are
faster as the ducks. ;) The swans were far
away as four white points. No geese.
Its not cold outside and no wind.
Not easy to believe, that we are
heading the storm on sunday.
I hope, it won´t come worst.
As a Christmas gift...

And now tea and some editing in my own blog. :)

Britta-Gudrun - Thank you for your kind words about the cards!

Ralph - Your story is a perfect Christmas Special for KWM! It will be published late in the evening.

Chris - The star photo is beautiful! I hope to see something like that in the sky when it gets dark!

By the way: whats about the Google Doodle?
Funny musicians three days after Berlin?
And the black ribbon has vanished.
What has this to do with our
Christmas? Disgusting!

MERVI - we have grey and dull weather again, but with rising temperatures.
So you have the luck, to see "our" bright star in the sky, I had the privilege ;)
some days ago. Here are more stars, far away: http://tinyurl.com/z72mfv8

I´ll have a short tour on the bike, to visit my feathered friends.
All shopping is done - tomorrow I´ll meet my sister :)
I haven´t seen my brother since three years now.
What a stupid and ignorant guy. :p

See you all later  :)

Love your collages Cards for Christmas. I am also looking forward to seeing how the illustrations turn out for the special on Tonja and Aika (Sorry I have let the cat out of the bag, but I am looking forward to this one as it will be especially appropriate after the sad days in Berlin)
I will be in the Library tomorrow for the last time before 3 January

Guten Tag,

Good morning! Guten Morgen! Dear fluffy angel - we have a beautiful day here. The sun is shining in a clear blue sky. No white Christmas this year either but I hope we can at least admire some stars in the evening.

Vesa wants to thank you all for your kind birthday greetings here, in KWM and in FB! He really appreciated them all!

Chris - So far there are no signs of a storm so we're keeping our fingers crossed.

Sarsam - I wish you and the gang a happy, peaceful Christmas! I hope Gandy isn't too harsh to Santa! :D

Christine, Knuti-Judi - I hope the ice has disappeared and you have soft snow instead ....

Ludmila - Good luck with decorating the tree. I'm curious to hear which one of your cats have been assisting you. Maybe all of them? :D

Bärgit - Hopefully you'll 'survive' the Christmas hustle and can soon start enjoying the holiday.

In KWM you'll find some Christmas cards from our four legged friends. Please, feel free to 'use' them if you want! Now I wish everybody a very pleasant day before the Christmas Eve!

Hello Dear Alle!

Mervi - Lucky Lady - you're so fortunate to receive such splendid Christmas cards from our four-legged friends! Thank you for sharing them.
I'll have a closer look at them later - but now I'm off to merge into the Christmas hustle downtown :D

Ludmila - Thank you for the Herkules.
It made me feel so strong to meet any challenge of the day :D

Have fun decorating your 2nd tree.
I liked your first one and Sidney taking it easy after supervising you.

It is great to meet you here.
There are tortoises with the teeth too. Some people got such tortoises at the time as we got Speedy. It is not funny to feed such tortoise. Speedy sometimes bits in my finger, it does not hurt.
How are you and your animals doing?

Annemarie -- Sending more soft hugs :-)

Mervi -- I hope you and Vesa are feeling much better now!

What was it that JFK said......."I am a Berliner"!!.........

Ludmila -- Sydney looks very beautiful (as does your decorated tree). I am sure she is quite tired--it takes a lot of energy for her to supervise her family :-) By the way, I know Speedy has no teeth.....but it is our experience that turtles/tortoises can get your attention by pinching you :-))) Hope the crystal project is proceeding well.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful contributions to the Knuipe. So many lovely, funny, and interesting links....... And, of course, KWM is a most lovely jewel. I am running very far behind this year--please let me wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year here in the Knuipe.

Sending you all hugs, paw waves, and wing greetings from our whole family! Semper Knut!

LUDMILA - Sydney looks cute.
Have you a tree in the sleeping
room AND in the living room? :D

MERVI - I cross my fingers, that

too much from the coming storm.

Chris - Yes, the 'English storm' is coming to us during the weekend. I hope it has weakened on the way.

Annemarie - I hope the new diagnoses and new treatment will heal your hand soon.

Dumba - We've had a cosy, lazy day at home with Mimmi and Nalle. We prefer to keep our birthdays 'inside the family'. :D - The laughing puppy is hilarious! :D

Ludmila - The tree looks great. No wonder Sydney was tired after having decorated it. :D - We also have the small polar bear with a fish in our tree!
