Dear friends! As you all know by now I love the Fall and I'm happy to welcome this season again! Even our white fluffy friends are enjoying the cooler days while they're waiting for their favourite season - the Winter! :-) Fiete sent me lovely greetings which I want to share with you:

I am sorry about your feelings. In the moment it is not very busy at the other blogs too. You can chack at UliS and at knutitis.
I think we need something to drink. I prefer a cold drink tonight!

Filomena - We're having a Britt S.ummer, too at the moment but the trees are telling us we're heading for the Fall. I love the spectrum of all shades of colours.

Ludmila, Chris - I'm not the only blog owner feeling this way. It really is frustrating to get so poor response when you consider all the hours of work, all the efforts made to keep the blogs going. Maybe it's just the time to close ..... My heart would break but is' breaking already noticing so many of the former bloggers just don't care anymore.

MERVI - I understand your frustration well.
In the last weeks it was very quiet here. :(

I'm very sorry I had to write this but finally I'm too fed up to keep my mouth shut!

An open letter to the silent readers who NEVER write anything here:

Have you any idea how much time, work and even money it takes to run this blog? You only come here to read but never bother to drop a line. I prefer to have a blog with bloggers than really want to be a part of this Knuipe and not those who only would like to find a 'like button'. An ape can do that but I expect more from the visitors of my blogs!

If you have time to visit the Knuipe you certainly have time to drop a line. I don't even require any registration. I wanted to create a free blog but obviously some of you only want to take without giving anything back.

The same goes for Knuti's Weekly Magazine! You only check the fantastic articles/reports there without any comments!

Please, don't bore me with the 'I'm too busy' grab - if you have time to visit my sites you also have time to drop a word or two! If not - please, keep away from my sites!

Thank you Mervi for the new thread and the article in KWM.
I love the picture of Knuti and the Autumn leaves.
Annemarie's surprise scones and jam delighted the Cotswold bears yesterday.
I will be away until Tuesday as I have a lot to do over the weekend but of course will
look in on the Knuphone. Wishing everyone a safe and peaceful time

Hello friends at coffee time!
I think you are right about Wasja. On the other hand he found out that some food is not as tasty as the other. Then he askes for the better food :)
How is your free time?
How are you doing?
We have the nice day again. Are you on the tour?
I can understand your Mimi. Our girl cats do not like Ferdi and Wasja. Sydney eats in the night, if the tomcats are outside. For Minka I try to find a calm place to eat. Muffin is more confident. She sends Wasja away :)

Good morning! Guten Morgen! Dear fluffy angel - it's time for a new thread although it's been really quiet here for a long time now which is not so inspiring. Let's hope September will be better!!

Christine - Congratulations for being number one! Of course, you will have a fantastic reward: A blue barrel filled with Uncle Sergej's home made apple cider! However, I must warn you - it's very strong!! :D

Dave - I hope the long weekend will be pleasant with no 'incidents'. - Uncle Sergej is 'ausser Rand und Band' about Apple Jack. He immediately told me it will be the 'house drink' of September! I can only say Cheers! :D

Ludmila - Wasja was a 'street cat' before coming to you so maybe he's always afraid there won't be food for him next time he gets hungry. Just a thought ....

Christine, Knuti-Judi, Ludmila - Thank you so much for your quick comments about my humble story. They mean a lot to me!!!!! :D

I wish everybody a very nice Friday and a good start of a (hopefully) relaxing weekend!

Good morning! Guten Morgen!
Thank you for the wonderful story.
I hope the pain will go away. Do you do a physiotherapy?
Now I see that all our cats have the problem with Wasja. He is always in the kitchen for eating. In the morning Ferdi tried to eat, Wasja sat next to him and watched him. Ferdi left enervated. Then Minka came, I gave her the bowl in the other room. Wasja found her and I saw Minka going away, Wasja ate her food.
Herkules ist fertig :)

Good Evening.

Mervi - I have always liked those "autumn Knut" photos.

Thank you for all the good wishes. I went back to work this week. The pain is far less than last week, but sitting too long is a problem. After 10 minutes in the car, I am starting to squirm to find a comfortable position.

So, for the first time in over twenty years, I will miss the Labour Day long weekend on Manitoulin Island. I'm not sure what to do here in Waterloo on a long weekend, but I know with the two universities and one community college beginning a new term on Tuesday, it will be busy with students. I can't even count how many moving trucks, vans and pickup trucks that I have seen in the last two days.

I think that I will have a special cocktail for the beginning of Autumn. It is called "Apple Jack". Ingredients include Jack Daniels whisky mixed with apple juice on ice. :)

Have a Good Knight everyone and TGIF.
