Teddybärenmutti - I hope the thunder storm didn't cause problems in Turku.

Annemarie - I hope your 'semi formal clothes hunting' was succesful! :D

Bärgit - I try to imagine the raindrops are tiny transparent polar bears .... :D

Knuti-Judi - I'm sure your garden welcomes the rain.

Dumba - Your pidgenos are sooooo sweet. It was touching to see the mama protecting her kids from the rain. - I hope you can have a good night's sleep with sweet dreams - maybe of flying pidgeons?

Patricia - I'm keeping my fingers crossed and Mimmi & Nalle are crossing their tail for a suitabel zoo visit weather tomorrow! :D

Christine - Happy Tuesday to you, too!

Britta-Gudrun - I'm still flying with Tweetie!

Good evening Dear All, from a wet and rainy Leuven. JAWADDE, and tomorrow, it is planned to go to Planckendael. Hope that it will not be raining too hard and too much.
Britta-Gudrun, although your house will be a little emptier without sweet Tweetie, thanks to your good care, he is now starting a new life and I am wishing him all the best.
Dumba, I adore your pics of the pigeon family and indeed, they are becoming big now. But it is hearth-warming to see how they hide under Mamma?s wings for the rain notwithstanding their flying exercises. And it goes without saying that I loved your pic of the pretty sparrow of Berlin. As you will recall, they have always belonging to my favorites.
Chris, do not be scared for Windows10. When Microsoft stopped supporting XP, I replaced my (very) old computer by a new one and decided to go for Windows 8.1. Often things were not easy to manage and therefore as soon as I got the e-mail from Microsoft to upgrade to Windows 10, I did not hesitate. And let me tell you one thing: Windows 10 is very similar to XP and I like it.
At the moment, I am definitely not updated in KWM, in other words, I have read a lot of reports but so far did not have the time to react. Hope for more time during the weekend.
At this moment, I am preparing our Planckendael visit of tomorrow (still waiting for some news from Cecile and Jos).

Sorry!

Ludmila - Danke fuer Fotos.

Dumba - Auch Danke fuer Berlin Fotos.

Ein von Lippenbären in Zoo heisst Kaveri. Kaveri bedeutet in Finnisch Kumpel.

Good morning! Guten Morgen! Dear fluffy angel - the second day of August. We're heading for the Fall!

Dumba - I just took a walk in the zoo with you. I agree with you - the new entry doesn't look very nice but maybe there will be some 'decorations' later.

Yeo - What a relief the birdie made it out and could fly away. - I'm sure your 'patients' appreciate the evenings with wine, champagne and entertainment. Good luck with the next event!

Ludmila - Thank you for the photos of the lovely seals. It looks like you're having a great time with lots of new experiences.

Chris - On Sunday we visited our 'Central Park' - Pildammsparken in Malmö and met many kinds of birds there. I was thinking of your geese and swans ....

Britta-Gudrun - I guess our Tweetie has already been flying a long, long way. I sent a guardian angel to fly with him.

Bärgit - Raindrops falling on the roof can make the most beautiful music! :D

Annemarie - I hope you found 'semi formal' clothes in the shops!

In KWM you'll find Monika aus Berlin's report from the zoo with lots of great photos as usual.

I wish everybody a very pleasant Tuesday!

Hello Dear Alle!

Ludmila - Ich staune über eure Reisefreude!
Have fun in Canada.

Britta-Gudrun - Tag1 im neuen Leben! Wie geht es dir heute?

Chris - Welcome back!

It has cooled down considerably and we've got rain.
Have a good day, Dear Alle.

Dumba, danke fuer deine Berliner Schnappschuesse.

Hello friends!
Today we visited the Butchards Garden. The Garden is wonderful. We made a boat trip in the bay too. There were seals. This seal is pregnant

Good morning, dear all!

@ Britta-Gudrun

Du hast einen guten Job gemacht. Ich wünsche Tweetie alles Gute und ein schönes Leben.

The day before yesterday, a young bird had flown on our station and did not find out again. He fluttered a while frantically down the hall and down. Finally, he crouched on a picture frame. He was so tired that I take him in hand and was able to bring into the open. The little bird hopped a little on the balcony around, but eventually he flew up and away.

The cozy evening with the old people went quite well. We talked and I read funny short stories. There was also liqueurs and champagne. Unfortunately not for me. I was only allowed to drink water. The end of August, I should do it again as an evening.

I wish you all a pleasant Tuesday!
Hugs
Yeo

Dumba - Just got back from your CCC tour in sunshine and rain.
I enjoyed the walk a lot. So many new views - like the white fairy ladies in the rain, the manifold impressions of green of raindrops of houses people and last but not least of our Darling Shorty.
The way Shorty is placing the paws or building a special cushion by folding up the doormat reminded me of Tommi doing just alike.
Thank you for sharing your treasures!

For the NIGHTOWLS there is a little surprise as kind of a 'BETTHUPFERL'

BRITTA-GUDRUN - Ich schliesse mich gerne und vollen Herzens
den Worten von MERVI und BAERGIT an!

ALL/e
This morning I asked wheather you did guess where I made the shot
of the beautiful SPARROW (which I dedicate herewith to MONIKA/Berlin
and to PATRICIA ROBERTS) :)
There was no answer, so, I will unveil it to you:

On the last day of JULY (31.07.2016), a SUNDAY I was in ZOO BERLIN!

I have to admit I was much disappointed when I saw the new Loewentor-area. I found it simply ugly and in addition simply disgusting that visitors are forced to leave the zoo through a rather cheap-looking BIG souvenir-shop now! . . . Only when I finally discovered the camels, elephants, and a great one-horned rhinoceros, I felt again in 'my' ZOO BERLIN. . . .

You will get to know which animals I met by the subtitles. ....
You will love to see how happy polar bear Lady KATJUSCHA rolled in front of the visitors. Funny was when in the brown bear enclosure there was a handsome squirrel to be seen instead of SIDDY . . .

Unfortunately I dont't be as gifted as MONIKA(Berlin) to catch special scenes:
when the sloth bear couple did mate, my camera battery was dead (eyes roll!).

Britta-Gudrun - As I already wrote earlier, we are all flying with Tweetie. May he come to his destination safe and sound. I can understand you had mixed feelings this morning. - I raise my glas to you and to Tweetie! You are both heros of this Summer!!

Bärgit - It's amazing that a little bird like Tweetie can fly such an enormous distance! Let's wish him all possible luck on his way!
