Dear friends! November is a month with many faces. We don't like the greyness but we love to celebrate birthdays and births of our white giant bears. We can hardly wait for - hopefully - happy family news from the polar bear enclosures in many zoos. Personally I hope we will have a Scandinavian baby boom this season!

Even this year I've prepared a little Halloween story for you:

Dear friends! It's already October and soon the 'cubbie season' is here. Let's hope we will get many happy family news from many zoos! Soon its also time to celebrate the birthdays of our white fluffy friends.

Why don't we start 'rehearsing' the coming parties? Fiete has very kindly invited us all to his October Fest and, naturally, we'll have lots of parties even in our Knuipe!

Dear friends! Although I know not many share my enthusiasm about the Fall I still want to welcome this fantastic season! :-) The weather is still warm but soon we can enjoy the crispy mornings and admire Mother Nature's colourful outfit. Every season has it's own special charm!

I just couldn't help myself writing a little story, too:

Dear friends! I have pinched the title for this thread from none less than Leo Tolstoy although I'm quite sure even our fluffy angel would say the same! Let's not forget the importance of enjoying our life. Tomorrow will be what it will be but let's not be afraid of being happy today!

Dear friends! Even though the nice Summer weather makes it possible to work outdoors, please, don't forget the importance of relaxation! Your gardens don't have to be perfect - allow yourselves to enjoy the green grass, the colourful flowers, birds' singing, butterflies flying ..... In the old collage Knut shows you how it's done! :-)

Dear friends!  I think the photo of Knut and TD is one of the most beautiful photos ever. It tells the whole story of a magic bear and his keeper.

The light Summer nights are also filled with magic - our friend Fiete can tell you more about it:

Dear friends! Even though the days aren't very warm yet the first heat wawe will soon be here - whether we like it or not. Personally I don't like extreme heat - it makes my brain melt. :D However, I'll try to be a sport and 'allow' everybody else to enjoy even the hottest days.

Dear friends! Every Spring I remember what a keen gardener our Knut was. By moving the plants around he managed to make the enclosure very green. What a sweet  and skilful polar bear boy he was!

Dear friends! The cuteness season keeps rocking and rolling. Many of us are visiting the sweet cubbies almost daily we can see reports of their visits in KWM. They are the highlights of the days bringing so much joy and happiness to us!  For me personally one of the absolute highlights of the whole year will be the visit in Rostock!

Dear friends! What sweet polar bear cubs there are again! Thanks to the many reporters we've been able to follow them all since they came out with their mothers. I'm truly grateful for all fantastic reports in KWM and hope they will keep coming. The cute cubbies put a spell on us! :-)

There are some Easter greetings from our white fluffy friends in KWM:

Dear friends! March should be a happy month because it's the beginning of the Spring time. However, this month will always be connected with the tragic news from Berlin. This year we have even another reason to feel sad - a dear friend has left us but let's hope she will come back one day. The door is always open! - However, I'm sure all the sweet polar bear babies will cheer us up!

We should be polar bears - they never shovel snow ....

Dear friends! It's time to start the first thread in February which very often is the real Winter month of the year. Our American and Canadian friends have a cold period with lots of snow so our polar bear friends in the zoos over there must be happy. Of course, they don't have to shovel snow like the humans ....  they just enjoy it :-)

I wish everybody a pleasant Winter time - with or without snow!

Dear friends! Unbelievable but true - Knutitours celebrates it's 7th anniversary! I want to thank you all for being a part of our magical tour. 7 years is a respectable age for a blog but Knutitours & Knuti's Weekly Magazine are still going strong!

Dear friends! The 13th of January is Knut's nameday in Finland and Sweden and it's also the day when the Christmas tree and all the decorations are put away. I thought I carry on the tradition and throw away the tree outside our Knuipe on this special day. :D

Dear friends! This thread is the last in the year 2014 and the first in the year 2015! The year that is about to end has been just like all the other years - it brought us both happiness and sorrow. Let's hope the next year will focus more on happiness....

I have published two articles with memories - some of them very personal - from the year that passed:

Time for magic and miracles

Dear friends! We all know that miracles DO happen but maybe this is the time of the year when it's most likely! My grandfather told me that during the Christmas night all the animals can speak. Well, they speak to me all the time but perhaps they are even more talkative in this magic night.....

Advent time 2014 is here!

Dear friends! During the Advent we're looking forward to Christmas. For us it's also the time for looking forward to happy family news from many zoos with polar bears. We have already received good news but unfortunately also some sad news. However, we wish all the newborns and their parents best possible luck!

As usual I just couldn't prevent myself from making a little Advent story starred by our soon one year old fluffy friends:

The Season of Miracles is here!

Dear friends! The polar bear birthday season is here again so I thought it would be suitable to 'dress' even our Knuipe with some snow - our fluffy friends' proper element! :-) I want to wish all the polar bears in the whole world happy birthdays and, of course, I will welcome new miracles with open arms!

Since I share the polar bear cubbies' love for snow I made a little 'something' of that theme:

Hurray for snow and ice!

Dear friends! Wether we like it or not - the Winter season is here. The clocks are again ticking 'normal time' and the first snow flakes have already fallen in many places. The polar bears' birthday season is about to begin so we can look forward lots of funny parties. Hopefully we will also hear happy family news from many zoos!

A year ago we were hoping for cubbie news from Hellabrunn and our hopes came true. Now the Turbo Twins are celebrating their very first Halloween!
