Dear friends! The days are getting more and more chilly but don't you worry! Our Knuipe is well prepared to welcome even the coldest days. There's always fresh Herkules and the samovar is hot all day long! We have also lots of yammy snacks to go with the drinks Uncle Sergej is creating for us!

I can not say, how triste I am now. Rest in Peace, dearest Vilma.

I want to have a Schnaps from uncle Sergej, please.

Dear Vilma,

We raise our glasses in sorrow, but also in celebration of your beauty and grace. Tears are in our eyes.

Vilma gone? Oh no, this is so very sad -- a tragedy. Vilma was a great mother. It is a relief that Vienna seems to be okay.
Group hug too..........

Oh my God, what sad news is this!!! And she was only 14 years old. I cannot believe it.
The keepers in Rostock must be very unhappy and lost now. Of their three bears, they were sure that there was only one coming back with certainty as Fiete is moving to Hungary and Vienna is already very old. And now, they have lost her. I cross my fingers for Vienna.

I cannot believe it . . .

QUOTE:
"

Oktober gut in Aalborg angekommen.

At least some good news today .....

Gisela's last photos of Vilma in Rostock are also the last photos of Vilma in Knuti's Weekly. With a Heavy heart I had to change the title of the article.

OH, NO! What very sad news! I don't understand ...... she was still a young polar bear and seemed to be doing so fine. The keepers in both Rostock and Aalborg must be devastated. At the moment I have no more words .....
