Hello friends! Due to all kinds of problems with servers and upgradings there has been no time for writing a new story. Hopefully the problems will soon be over and I can feel inspired to write again. Meanwhile Herr Knuti has been very innovative and creative - just take a look at that earring! Cartiers and Tiffany's can close their doors permanently - the modern knewerly is designed by Knuti!

Bärgit - that's it !!!! I am waiting very fast now, hahaha adn being patient is my very weak point

crissi - oh yes, I already know the article. ddp contacted KWM. And now Rainer published it in FLocke BLog.
Again the certain organisation has been given a platform. I wonder why the press cannot be contented with what those who actually visited and are visiting the bears regularly see and report.

I have to get my mulch ready now, TGIF tomorrow, and then WEEKEND.
Good Night, dear All and sleep well.

Hast Du gesehen, Rainer hat im Flocke-Blog nochmal einen Artikel von
Monika über ihren Besuch bei den Bärchen eingestellt?

Caren - yes, I know, sometimes it's hard to be patient.
Or to put it into Karl Valentin's words:
Zuerst hab ich langsam gewartet und dann immer schneller.

Ludmilla - of course, I am . With all that delicious food that passed through QC. Dear Waiter is still licking his lips and paws. He said it was ok for him if we indulged in the morsels he left for us.
So, some cold IceBearBeer or Knutsecco with it would be great and then we could start composing the music for La Donna and Yoghi.

Oh Ludmila - I am certainly at table #5, this one is always reserved for Knuipians and for special friends of (at least) one of the 4-clover-leaf....

Caren - when are you expecting them back?
Mozart only wrote down the notes he had already 'found' in his head he once said. I'm sure there must be somebody out there capable of doing so alike. Maybe Wolferl will send us a Marcia alla Ursa. We just have to take down / collect the notes. Can't you feel the rhythm already?

LUDMILA: The mother and baby did die in childbirth but the zoo is trying to find out why since the mother was healthy and doing well prior to the birth.

MERVI: I am so glad I could help Knuti regain his strength again. Nothing is worse than someone who does QC and have no product to test. HeHe.

Everyone, have a cool and enjoyable evening. May I join everyone at table #5 for something cold?
Today it is very hot again here.

Ludmila - when Yoghi and Giovanna are back home, you might have an additional aim for zoo visits. I would love to visit the bears together with you and Uwe.
Okay I have to wait a bit until they come back but they have been away for so long, that the last days will not so very difficult.
I am convinced that on the longer run there will be another girlfriend for Knuti.

Bärgit - Maybe someone would even compose a masterpiece for the homecoming to Munich? That is such a good idea, however, a bit too late. Good composing needs time.

Hello Everybody

Back from the Kneipe, where we had some "lecker" steaks and cold hessisch beer.
Now it has cooled down very much, I had openend all windows, the doors to the
garden and "terasse" and the windows in the roof....pfhh under the roof where my
PC room is, its really hot at all, all the electric stuff produce their own heat....

Hope, everybody had a cool day, not too much stress and too much work?!

Tomorrow my PC specialist is invited, to install some new plug in, a new password,
check the antvire programm and so on - I am better on the safe side!

Now I´ll view TV-programm for one or two ours and then go the mulch.

I wish everybody a quiet, cool night and sweet dreams!

Good evening!
Mervi
How are Mimmi and Nalle doing? Did they do some rearranging again?
Caren
I wish you would not have to wait too long. I am sad about Giovanna?s leaving. She is very nice girl. I hope she will find her luck with Yoghi and Knut will be lucky with another bear girl.
Let us drink Knuseco of welfare for our bears!
Dumba
It is not good that you have still a cold. Maybe you can try with warm tea against ?sexy voice?.
Thank you for the zoo report. I would like to see the baby sea lions too.
You are lucky with your cat. Our cats are the whole day busy. They came in the evening to eat and go sleeping. Ferdi comes with me in bed to cuddling, Muffin and Minka stay in leaving room. About 4 a.m. Muffin and Ferdi come cuddling again. They are purring aloud and running in our bed for about half an hour. Then they fall asleep with us. I tried brushing with Ryzik. After a minute he went furious and run away.
Enjoy your lovely cat!
Wolfgangsmama
Thank you for the yummy food.
I got it wrong with Mama and Baby Giraffe. I thought they dead through the childbirth.
I am sending the best wishes to you and your family.
Patricia
How are you doing?

Hello Dear Alle,
I hope everything's fine with the countdown running, the cold ameliorating, the heat lessening.
Meanwhile I've been fancying La Donna's parade to Munich. There's something missing: good music. Cellos, violines......but no trumpets, of course. Maybe the musician Armen Ksajiakin could support us in case none of the Knuipe friends would be able to do it. http://wissen.spiegel.de/wissen/epaper/SP/2010/29/48.html. He played his cello for Alaska brown bears and according to him they showed clear signs of approval when he played darker tones: balancing on one of the legs in upright position, joining him singing.
Maybe someone would even compose a masterpiece for the homecoming to Munich?

Dumba - Thank you for the entertaining report from the zoo! - Now you know what guilty feelings we all have when we have to leave our 'Stubentigers' for a few days. Oh my, I've never seen as accusing eyes as those of a cat left behind.

Eva - Thank God you're back. The Waiter just said to me he was feeling very weak because there was nothing to be quality controlled. Well, now he's really busy controlling....

Mervi - I am happy that you are happy and that the surprise reached you so soon. :D

Christine - I am sure we are many counting the countdown.

Wolfgangsmama - Thank you so much for another delicious catering service. I am sorry that you are suffering from thunderstorms that even the electricity is down.

Dumba - what a nice surprise that you are back with such a great report from the Zoo. A also know the rule 7+7+7, I would like to hear your "sexy voice". Take care and get completely okay very soon.

A quick hello to Everybody with cat on the lab, always demanding more cuddling and attendance ..:-) When I left the house, I told her I would be back soon - and this was really my intention. The truth is, I returned only after some hours. That's why she got more than 40 minutes of cuddling and brushing right after my final return back home as a compensation ...
In the morning it was quite humid, and I thought it would get a rathe unpleasant day with lots of heat and humidity but then a nice wind came up and it was a balanced mix between sunshine and clouds, and no thunderstorm occurred which I had expected. So I spent some real nice hours in Zoo Berlin meeting some nice people and most probably KNUTi and GIOVANNA together for the last time (?). Both looked very well and seemed to be in good mood, however: no interactions... Made a little zoo round, meeting the two sea lion babies for the first time. So cute! Diego played kind of a hide and seek game with his mother or one of the other adult females. This was so funny to see; you were under the impression he is sooo content to be no more the 'little one' ;-) The Grevy-zebras showed in full beauty. The Marabou-couple seemed to be exhausted because of the heat or beacuse of their family planning (?). One of them was thinning out at the top, and it looked rather as a result of mating ritual than as a sign of aging ;-) The okapis were at their meadow vis-à-vis the zebras and seemed to flirt a bit undecidedly. Later one of them stood alone under a roof looking like a 'car port', the other one was not to be seen anymore. Griseline and Carlos had either hid themselves or they weren't out at all. At the enclosure of Ine and Kito there were two equally large rhinos. I don't lnow which ones. We made the round of the complete "Erweiterungsgelände" (extension area). Nice walk but nothing special to be seen. The construction activities of the house next to the Przkewalsky-horses were in full swing and a lot of water blasters were put in motion. All animals were rather calm.

When beeing back at KNUTi's some minutes before two o'clock, the feeding was already nearly over. What was nice to see anyway, was that there were a lot of people who relly enjoyed seeing KNUTI in he usual feeding behaviour. After feeding Knuti went straight into his water ditch for a swim. GIOVANNA found still some apples and even brought to light and to her snout a little fish from the ground of the ditch. Knuti waited excitedyly in the right hand side corner whether Giovanna would join him for a play. She didin't ;-) However, both of them seemed quite content to me as they did the last few times when I saw them. Petzi and Siddy were still enjoying eating some apples. The wolves are still a peaceful family and a lot of visitors became their fans in the meantime. Ronja and Maja the tapir-mama with daughter were hardly to be seen in the background where they had their nap. Chico the onely beautiful black tapir enjoyed a speacial treat out of a new little manger near his entrance. The elephants were all busy to gather up food-pellets their keepers had scattered all over the sand of their enclosure. In addition they took a dust bath once in a while. Victor the male elephant showed himself in all beauty standing as a model and powdering himself as well with dustclouds. He looked as if knowing everything about his beauty and his effect on visitors. So does little Ko Raya. You are always under the impression she is flirtingeither with a memeber of her family or with visitors - a right little smooth operator :-)) BTW; I found a sweet post card from SHain Pali, Ko Ray's sister when she was still a baby, and there was somebody who bought me this card as a gift, isn't that sweet!?

CAREN
Thanks for your concern. My cold i very faithful; however, I don't feel too bad. Just still have a sexy voice and certainly kill my neighbours with rather disgusting cuagh attacks . . . As said earlier: 7 + 7 +7 days.... The assistant of my doctor recommende to have salt steam baths with a very compassionate glance thinking of the weather ;-)

KnuGio-hugs to everybody

GREETINGS!
I have written two posts, quite long and when I hit send both times the power went off here. So, they did not arrive at the Knuipe. We have been having thunder storms daily here and each time the lights go off. So, that is why I have been lost.

CHRISTINE: I hope you enjoyed Prague. I have always wanted to go there for a visit. My Grandmother was from Prague. I am sure Prague is much different now. She left there in the early 1900's and never was able to go back for a visit. How I envy your trip!

RALPH: I agree with Retta about sharing the e-mail address with Gudrun regarding her documentary regarding how Knuti changed our lives. Please feel free to give her mine. I look forward to your reports each day about our Knuti and your adventures in Bearlin.

PATRICIA: Dear Lady, you are one in a million to not only take in many homeless cats over the years but to also take in your neighbor. You are a gem!

LUDMILA: We are doing fine here. Finally have some rain and a little drop in the heat. It is almost bearable outside now. The folks at the Zoo are trying to carry on but they are so sad. They are awaiting testing from the Mama and Baby Giraffe as to the cause of death. Thank you for asking.

I brought some supper (at least I got here at meal time today) for all. There are platters of fried chicken, bowls of mashed potatoes, pots of rich, cream gravy, steamed broccoli and some steamed asparagus drizzled with a little butter. There are several kinds of melted cheese to pour over the broccoli and asparagus if you choose. I made some potato rolls to go with supper, too. I made some rice pudding, jello and also a lemon cake for dessert. So, enjoy!!! I'll be back later.

Crissi - Have a great evening with your friends and enjoy the cool weather!

Christine - Happy Thursday to you, too! Any plans to travel to Berlin?

Knuti-Judi - Knuti's famous 'Sensational Super Rich Moisturizing Juvenating Make Up Powder' will make every black eye look like a star!

The Waiter and I are waiting for you at table 5. I hope the bear army will find Alex soon!
