Dear friends! It's a happy hours - or rather happy hours - for all the football lovers. Today is the kick-off for the World Championship in South Africa. As you see Knuti is ready and fit for fight!
Now I wish all the teams best of luck but of course, most luck for the Knuti's team. There's a little story about Knuti's preparations:

It's very, very hot...o.k., I know it's July, but these extreme temperatures can make me very cranky...

Thank you for asking... I had to take it easy yesterday due to over exertion Saturday & Sunday--my joints (especially my knees) were unhappy
I am better today. I picture your dear smile and everyone else's face here and I see beautiful women of a certain age who are full of personality and a joy to be with...
Hope is doing well. She is still on her own and foraging--lots of berries to eat...she's traveling around and climbs up trees with any signs of trouble...she's still eating the formula they are leaving her but is not relient upon it...She and her mama have not crossed paths...her little radio collar keeps the scientists informed of her where abouts...I watched a video of her recently--cute little bear playing with a stick--Bless her little bear heart...

GOOD EVENING!
I H A T E the time difference!!! It is 6:40 PM here in Spring, Texas so that makes it about 12:40 AM in your part of the world. Anyway, I did bring some food. I put it into the fridge for tomorrow's lunch. I left Wolfgang von Rottweiler to guard the fridge so a certain Waiter cannot test the food too much!
There is a baked turkey, Southern style cornbread stuffing, candied yams, cranberry sauce, and pecan pies. Also, there is a very large pot of Seafood gumbo, boiled rice, cornbread, fried fish, an assorted tray of crispy cold vegetables to snack on along with my Festive Dip, Ranch Dip and Onion Dip. There are trays of bread pudding with Bourbon sauce and plates of peanut butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies and some cherry blossom cookies. Of course there is a very large bowl of croissants, too. For our "babies" there are beef bones of large and smaller sizes, dried strips of beef, fresh prawns, pots of rich, cold cream and certainly Hungarian salami for everyone's enjoyment. (humans and babies both love the salami) We don't celebrate Midsummer Holiday but I know you all do, so, enjoy the food as I made plenty. There are pots of iced tea, fruit punch and Sangria for the adults enjoyment. I brought in extra Knutsteiners for everyones enjoyment, too. So Folks, please, as we say here in Texas
