Hello friends! Yes, our fluffy white bears are having birthdays almost every day now and of course, we'll try to celebrate each and every one properly! The high light is as always Knuti's special day on the 5th of  December when lots of fans are going to Bärlin. I can already feel the excitement in the air....

This week Teddybärenmutti has received a letter from Wilbär:

Greetings Everyone!!

Thank you so much for all your Happy Thanksgiving greetings to all us Knuipians in the U.S.! We had a good time in Massachusetts. Grandma received calls from her daughter and son, had her favorite pumpkin pie with whipped cream (well, Cool Whip), and many visits with Sam and his Ladies while she tried to eat!!! A successful day!

MERVI -- I am so happy you made that trip to Orsa and opened up a relationship with Pernilla so that we get all the news of Ewa and Wilbar!

DUMBA -- No, no, no--please continue with your reports! Personal reports are very important because a photo gives only that particular view and is also the one deemed important by the photo-taker. A report gives an impression of several "photos." Also, I loved your comment on KWM article "Darling, your breath smells"--picture #4. I totally missed seeing what you saw and commented on! Hilarious comment!!

PATRICIA -- CAREN and all the others who agreed with her are right--it would be great if you would write a handbook about taming and caring for homeless cats. CELINNE is probably right that more people would help the homeless cats (and dogs) if they knew how to do it.

LUDMILA -- Hello! Wow, that book you recommended (The Underneath) is pretty intense for children (and me!). The villain is absolutely awful. Your photo of Charles at the table (with your son?) is precious. Charles obviously was well loved and felt comfortable sharing food with his family!! And yes, the good memories eventually take over and become precious jewels to take out and look at time after time.

CAREN -- Hello! Good idea about Patricia writing the handbook!! Be very careful to take care of yourself--you have said you are very tired and sleepy--you do not want to get sick now--Dec. 5 is right around the corner!!

KITTY -- Thank you for the news about Finn. Your comment: poor bear, poor man is perfect.

LEAF -- Hello! Your words for CELINNE are perfect: A "word virtuoso"

CELINNE -- OK now it's your turn: You say Raspi was going to charge only $50/card? WRONG: Someone made several unauthorized on-line charges on our credit card--one for over $1,000 on Thanksgiving day!! We got a call from the credit card people yesterday and now we are getting a new credit card number!!
You are doing good work with the kittens--but as PATRICIA said, slow and easy does it. No quick movements--don't try to pick them up yet--sit down and let them get used to crawling up into your lap and pet them on your lap. And put antibiotic cream on the scratches. By the way, In KWM I commented on your comment in the Darling, your breath smells article....

Hello to everyone else and bear hugs to all, Sarsam

Celinne says...
Leaf- I wasn't quite sure if you were still in the US...if you are, Happy Thanksgiving as well!!
I have noticed that Raspi seems to growing back in patches. I am keeping my fingers crossed although he stands out from the crowd...long fur or shrot fur.

So you want to watch that boomsie vibrating while Raspi tickles the ivories with "Fur Elise" . I can just see him now in deep concentration dedicating the piece: " Fur Vera...er ...I mean...fur Flook...er ...Flocke"

Celinne, you are a word virtuoso! Raspi's boomsie vibrating while Raspi tickles the ivories with Fur Elise! This is pure poetry.
I've been away taking a nap. Sleepy all day.
Mervi dear, you forgot to do what I asked for. I am getting virus alerts and you will see soon that others will too. So quick, do what I told you- go to Tools-Upgrade-Automatic Upgrade, and wait till it is complete, thank you.

Good evening friends!

Mervi
Thank you for the news from Orsa.

Dumba
I am always glad to meet you here.

TBM
Die Zeit vorgeht schnell. Bald ist so weit!

Caren
We will do the best. I think we have to get up early in the morning on Sunday.
I saw the nice pictures of Flocke and Raspi in Flocke blog today. I am looking for our visit in Nuerenberg too. The both bears are really lovely. Raspi with his round tummy and a slim Flocke playing together in water.

Celinne
Patricia put all very good together. You do all correct. Be careful with the scratches, sometimes they can inflame.
I look often the pictures from Charles. The pain softened with the time, the memory remained.

Patricia
I am very glad that Lars is doing well. I was chocked with the news about his move. Now I think he is doing better as in Berlin.

Sarsam
How are you? Do you eat a lot of yummy food?

Knuti-yudi
I thought on you as a very good cat mama. Sadly,it is really far away.

Hello Kitty, sometimes it's so funny how different people can the the same things. Thank you for copying the article in "knutitis" which I found written very appropriate and in the same time kind and witty. - - - See you!

I'm sorry but I have to go to mulch now. One more early morning before the weekend. See you tomorrow!

Dear all, I put an article about Finn in my regional newspaper at Knutitis. I do not like it, because all the people who sent cards and presents to Finn, are mocked. I will try to translate it into English tomorrow.

What would a party be without a fluffy waiter, a waitress dressed in pink, an Italian signorian and a Russian bear playing piano? Not much of a party but luckily we have it all!

By the way - I just added pictures of the birthday cakes in the Orsa report - also a pic of Wilbär eating his cake.

Cheers, Mervi! To all our bears!
Thank you for the report from Pernilla and the gorgeous Lead this week. What would we do without KWM and your hard much appreciated work? Now join Celinne, Judy and me on the couch and let's admire Raspi's boomsie at the piano.
Ewa and Wilbar now need a birthday nap together, and Gio and Knut are whispering sweet nothings behind the bar...

Celinne join Judy and me and on the couch, it's quite spacious. As you remember I was inspecting Raspi's dark spots, and Caren told us this was due to some strange bugs eating at him. What is your opinion on this? Btw. Caren thank you for the detailed explanation.
Let's now watch Raspi at the piano and admire his boomsie from behind.

Patricia - Thank you so much for taking the time to share such valuable information and experience with me. I will certainly heed your advice. Caren is right, you should consider writing a handbook for new cat handlers. I think one of the reasons why there are so many strays is because most people don't know how to win their confidence and give up very early in the interaction leaving the poor little ones to fend for themselves. You are a blessing.

Caren- Thanks for your concern. I am resting and taking some supplements.

Mervi- I think Raspi might order you an apple to go with the balloon. Be happy before he decides to munch down the apple as well while gaping at the luscious Vera.

Good to know that Finn is coming along and the man responsible is also alright. I was angry at first with him but then I read that he is mentally challenged so I hastily recanted and wish both a speedy recovery.

Dear Kitty, thank you for this update. I keep my fingers crossed that soon Finn is strong enough to undergo the surgery and to get rid of the amunition parts who can still cause infections. But the fact that this young man is now asking for his plastic bag, is another token of his weakness and human inability. And therefore, we must show a great heart and comprehension. But indeed, as you correctly wrote; poor bear and poor man.
