Dear friends! This awful year is over and I sincerely hope the year 2012 will be a better and happier year for all of us. It can't bring our Knuti back but maybe some good news every now and then can make the wound in our heart heal a little ......
Of course, there have been some bright moments, too. Let's not forget them! LuLu, Aleut, Gregor, Siku, Sessi and all the newborn cubbies in Toronto, Kolind, Ranua, Rhenen just to mention some of them. They are precious furry jewels!
I wish you all a Happy New Year 2012!

Welcome back Caren and Bernd. And happy new year !
Thank you for the good wishes. Everything was ok to-day at the hospital, and next week I have the final test, and I hope, that it shall be ok. Next week I have to wait for analysisresult. But I do feel well.
Wapiti and Rose help me here by Computer. Their heads are on the key-board.
Dumba - spring (almost) in Berlin. It is hard to understand. But also here in Denmark everything is coming earlier.

CRISSI -- The article on no winter is very interesting--especially the part about the winter wheat. As to the articles on Wulff -- I will let you all read those--I have enough of politics over here with our election dribble. And the various politicians who concentrate on their sex lives rather than their duty to their constituents. :-(

Greetings to all...
Just stopping in for a moment as I'm waiting for a call. Sending hugs (soft ones, of course) to all who are under the weather.
Sarsam- is Gandy still worried about the knusband? Bless his heart...
Dumba- I took your colorful tour, and would love to someday come to Berlin to see it all in person. All the photos were wonderful (I loved RotesHaus and the bakery!), but I was particularly taken with photos 55 through 57 in the slideshow, as I was able to use my one German phrase: "Der Bahnhof ist gerade aus!" The sunset photos were breathtaking.
Crissi- I've been enjoying all your links!
Mervi- Hope you are doing well. No holiday here tomorrow... but, since I had one on Monday, I guess I can't complain!
Time to tackle the next project... Only about 11 or 12 more years until I can retire...

BARGIT -- Just saw a snowy RB in the Pet Gallery! He is looking very handsome and healthy! He is a beautiful dog......sending happy howls back to him!

I think it is not really sad that Giovanna did not get birth to the cubs. She is very young. She can play a year more with Yoghi.

Hi All -- Just brought knusband back from the doctor and pharmacy. Indeed it is bronchitis and knusband is armed with antibiotics and strong cough medicine. Gandy is continuing his self-appointed nursing duty! Sam and Sarah are waiting in the wings if Gandy needs help.
KnUT -- Miss you on your 61-month birthday.......
INGE -- I hope the doctor can diagnosis your stomach problems and that they are minor and treatable. Fingers crossed.
CAREN -- Welcome back!! Whooping cough--wow, that does not sound like fun at all! I would be interested in anything Mr. Gunther told you about elephant herd management, specifically about his herd.
LUDMILA -- That is really funny about Tortoise--he feels better and bit the vet!!!! Go Tortoise :-)))
PATRICIA -- Fingers crossed that you will feel better soon. I hope Poppy is cuddling with you at night to help you fight your cold.
