Hello friends! It's again time for many of us to visit the CCC and a very special bear living there. I wish we could all be there but maybe one day this dream will come true. I'm sure there will be several reports so even the left behinders can feel the wonderful atmosphere there always is when the Wild Herd meets.
This week's story comes from Sarah & the Chelsea Gang. It's a real thriller so make sure you won't be alone when you read it!

Filo- I am so sorry to hear El Tigre has to undergo prolonged treatment at the vet. Poor little fella -my heart goes out to him. He must be in pain...and confused about all that medical treatment. It's never easy in these situations. I can imagine your own worry over his welfare. If I had my way I would come up there and take on that bullying tomcat myself so he'll know not to mess around with El Tigre's family. We look after our own! Just be gentle gentle on yourself and know that El Tigre will be fine. He sounds like a brave warrior and with our love he'll recover.

Sarsam- Nice to see back here. So there's a new hottie in the family....Silver? Sounds suave and handsome. I bet Minka is thinking about a cyber date. My regards to Gandy, Sam, Chloe and everyone else. Will drop you a line soon.
Caren- I am enjoying all the new information and video footage. It all adds a new dimension to the forum. Great stuff and I appreciate the hard work. I still miss my honey Raspi...no other bear can take my Russian boy's place in my heart.
Mervi- Looking forward to reading the new report on Knut. Whenever I see photos of Thomas and Knut, my heart goes into another world and time....the magic of those two will never cease to enchant us.

You are right, Yoghi looks much better and I see always a big smile on his face (no matter what scientist say about smiling, you know)
Mervi - as usual your ideas are perfect. The premiere in December is the right time, I hope we will then have full moon

To all 'housewarmers' - the weatherforecast just promised a sunny weekend in Bärlin. So we should take the chance of partying and camping out.
Teddybärenmutti - was für eine Überraschung. At least the old lady still shows a lot of initiative. Had we known earlier all of the Teddybärenarmy would have managed to do the renovation themselves.
Sarsam - (most) animals do have super teaching methods. Hope your new member of the family will feel at home soon.

You are right about Knut. He is cautious bear. He smells the other bears and is frightened. Today he was better. He climbed the rocks and swam a lot.

Minka is in a bad mood tonight. In the afternoon she jumped on the table and ate sandwich of Alex. He said something nasty to her. Now I took her and put the flea drops in her fur. She went upstairs and is thinking what can she do.

I do not know about Loro Park. We will see how the weather is. We have many books and want to relax.
I booked our December trip today. We will come on 4th December in the morning and stay till 6th December.

Teddybärenmutti - I can hardly believe it! Didn't the builders realize they're are dealing with an old confused woman or perhaps they just didn't care. Surely there must be a way to stop the whole thing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

MERVI -- Thank you! And Gandy sends special greetings and hugs to you! He has a new job now. Just before I had to leave the Knuipe, we were in the process of being adopted by a stray cat. He is now a new member of the family. Because he is a silvery gray color, we named him "Silver" (original, no?!!). Well, Gandy has had to teach this youngster who is boss in the house. Gandy is a very effective teacher--if he does not like something that is done, he beaks the evil doer. Silver learned very quickly not to invade Gandy's space!! The other cats are not amused. Especially Chloe, who swears (sings) to Silver whenever she sees him. We hope she will relent and let "her kittens" (and herself) become friends with Silver, but obviously it is going to take some time....
BARGIT -- The house-warming party is a great idea! So is the idea of making it a camping trip.

Mein Gott. Meine Schwiegermutter hat uns ueberrascht. Sie ist sehr aktiv gewäsen.Sie hat eine Renovierung besstellt. Die estonische Bauarbeiten haben schon beginnt. Sie hat gesagt, dass umeine Kinder bezahlen alles so gern.
Es kostet an uns nur etwa 4000- 5000 Euros. Kleine Renovierung.

Caren - thank you for your o.k. There's no need to rush. Let Knut think it over thoroughly if he'd rather sing or play an instrument, the tuba, the kettle drum or whatever. The instrument could be prepared with lots of yummy delicatessen.
