Snow walzing and singing in January

The new year has started with lots of snow and cold weather almost everywhere in Europe, USA and Canada. Our white fluffy friends are enjoying their white surroundings dancing in the snow. The theme of this thread is music  - we can hardly wait the concerts coming soon. I've heard a duetto for two cats but never before a duetto for a bear and a cat.....

Our thoughtful bear team has also been busy giving some good advice to us about how to keep the cold away. Teddybärenmutti was allowed to take notes:

Hello All!

Now there is help for the Haitian animals too-- http://www.humanesociety.org/news/news/2010/01/hsus_monitoring_di
saster_in.html

As CELINNE has indicated, it is wonderful to see how the people of the world have responded so unselfishly to the Haitian tragedy. There are a lot of good people in this world.

Mervi and Ludmila, many thanks. I hope the medicine of Raspi will help very urgent. He is a great Doctor. He helped TBM vey good.

Celinne

I saw the donate show of tuesday in german television. So much money, but it need a lot of medical care and help from the human organisations. I keep my fingers crossed, it was the last earthquake at Haiti. The people and children need food, medicine and new homes.

Greetings and knut night to all

At Hartmuth is a nice story from today posted of Gisela. Knut got a big salmon, about 2kg. Knut was not ready with salmon as Giovanna came. Gio wanted the rest of salmon. But salmon is no salad or pumpkin, Knut roared, than Gio roared too. Gio won the battle and got the rest. Then she wanted kuddle but Knut was not interested.
I hope you can sleep better.

Celinne - I wish all will be reached very soon with the goods these poor people need to survive.Furthermore I hope, that after this catastrophe all the other countries take care. Not many had known about the poverty in Haiti before.

Ludmila - you are right all these measures for the sake of globalisation is time-consuming, shocking and de-motivating. These processes are ongiong for more than ten years.
Have you looked at all your pics? I cannot await seeing them, too. Here it is also quite cold. Please do not let Ryzik out you never know when he will come home again.

Let us have a good night drink and then I will hurry into my mulch

Mervi - I also like Friday best. Such a pitty that there is only one Friday per week. Friday is the best, as you have the whole weekend in front of you.

Good night Friends

I want to join to you in the prayers for the Haitians, very sad.... Brazil leads the mission of ONU in Haiti and sent help and personal and we got lost some compatriots that were in Haiti for social works, especially a doctor pediatrician and hygienist Zilda Arns, that it was the front of the Child's Pastoral, organ that helps needy children in the poorest countries.

MERVI - Here it is summer and the temperature is plenty high, but we are having a lot of rains that have been causing great damages and uncovered a lot of people. Everyday we have great storms with many rays and thunders, I am afraid with that, but I notice that the whole world is having difficulties with the weather, we are paying the price for the deforestations and negligences that we had with the planet.

You are right sometimes the big catastrophes caused the positive changes. I hope the orhans from Haiti will get parents in Europe.

Caren
I have a video of lion Paul for you. He was very angry and roared. I asked Uwe to record the roar. Sometimes i would like to be able to do the same.

Celinne, Sarsam
I hope that the people in Haiti get the right help. Maybe after the catastrophe the life in Haiti will be better.
Mervi
Thank you for the drink. Minka and Ryzik are sending the best wishes to Nalle and Mimmi. It is very cold at us. Ryzik was about 10 minutes outside and came home. Sadly he forgot this now and mjaut again.
Caren
I am very sad about the problems at your work. We have re-structure often. It is always time-consuming and demotivating.
Patricia
I forgot about Mercedes. Katjuscha really looked very serious. I thought she is angry about Giovanna. I said her that Ralph is always sending the best wishes to her.
Sarsam
Why ?the problem child? is called Two-paw? I am curious.
Filomena
How are you? Ryzik is sending best wishes to Mimi. He said he was a long time outside because the other tomcat marked our area. Ryzik had a lot to do with remarking.
Bea, Alex
I send the best wishes to you
Velvet
It is very cold at us. Yesterday I thought on your horses. How are they now?

Mervi, Alex, Bea, Patricia, TBM, Sarsam, Caren - If there is one positive thing about this horrible tragedy is that it helped humans around the world to get back to their hearts and remember compassion. It has come as a wave of concern and everyone I know has given something or sincere prayers. One friend said it has caused her to refocus her whole life and now is looking at more humanitarian work instead of just being an executive. I think if we all continue to pray and send positive thoughts to them it might help to clear up some obstructions so they can get food and medical care.

Caren - We have to believe in miracles. Sometimes hope is the only thing we have left.

Alex - I'm sure The Waiter is just the guy for the role!

Everybody - Time again for mulch. Well, tomorrow's my favourite day of the week! Good night and sweet dreams to you all.

Dear All - well it is really hard when colleagues are going to loose their jobs, however, compared to the tragedy in Haiti they will most probably find a way out, which for the many Haitians there is no light at the end of the tunnel. From what I saw it will take years until everything has been re-built again. There are so many who have lost their families, that's a loss that can never be compensated. I really do hope that all the help which is on the way will reach the poor victims very soon.

Mervi - you said some days ago "miracle sometimes happen". How right you were. A little baby who is able to survive without and food for 8 days that is a miracle. May this child especially and all the victims have a better future.

Ludmila - you pics from yesterday will be balsam for the souls.

Bea, Alex - The Waiter is coming running ... oh no, he's roller skating again. Let's hope he doesn't drop your drinks.

Ludmila - Your photos are so wonderful. They'll be in KWM during the weekend.

Knutilda - Gute Besserung! I hope Raspi's medicine will help you, too.

Patricia - All the contributions are important ... and the small drops really do make an ocean!

Teddybärenmutti - Vielen Dank für deine nette Worte!

Nalle's helping me with the typing so I think I need a break now.

Good evening folks!

Caren - in my company it's the same situation. We gave also our know-how away
and our people have no work and loose their jobs. It's horrible!!

Celinne - I see and read the skocking reports from Haiti. It's inconceivable what happened.
I also read that the orphan children will come to Germany.

Ludmila - the pics are very nice...greetings to the excellent photographer.

Knuten Abend Alle!

Celinne, Sarsam- Finlands Red Cross send an hospital to Haiti. With the help of Germans Red Cross they ( doctors and nurses) are now working. I read that they can help 200 peoples a day. Herew is also going on massiv helping system: Lutheran Church ( our national church), State, Red Cross and private persons. All want to help.

Was noch.... Liebe Gruesse an Allen. Nach allen traurigkeiten sollen wir gluecklich sein, dass wir Knuipe haben. DANKE MERVI!

Mit mir geht es schon wie frueher. Nur am Morgen habe ich Husten. Vielleicht Mahorka hilft dabei. Raspi dekommiert Mahorka. Aber es riecht.

Good evening Dear All,
So, still one more working day and then it is weekend again.
Dear Ludmila, I was so glad to hear that everything is OK with you and Uwe. And I have already seen some pics. They are marvellous. However, I had the impression that Katjuschka was asking you: where the heck is that Ralph-guy? Still in London town? OH NO, tell him to arrange a visit as soon as possible. And most of all, tell him to stop flirting with the awesome Mercedes.
Dear Knuti-Judi, you got me, hihihihihi !!! Na ja, I am not perfect and even do not want to be so, and I know that in connection with my preferences to certain housework jobs, most people/women would consider me as somebody with ? as we say in Dutch ? een goeie hoek af. But I think that these defaults make a human being human. And with respect to ironing, I regularly do this for my neighbours. So actually, it is a pity that you are living so far away, otherwise I could give you a helping hand.
And now on a serious note, Dear Celinne and Sarsam, I cannot add an extra word to your wise words and views. And the worse thing is that the capital of this country is bleeding so much. It is there that normally all services and contact points are centralized to help the other parts of the country in case of need and disaster, but now in this case, the heart of the country is damaged. I am so afraid that in Haiti, it will take years to re-build the normal living circumstances. And yes, the past history and the former leaders are highly liable for the miserable conditions. But on the other hand, it is also heart warming and bringing hope to see that most parts of the world (governments and individuals) stood up immediately to render help (even though the people of Haiti may not know it yet). And for me, it was also very endearing to read that a 23-day old baby was rescued after being under the ruins for 8 (!!!) days without food or water and survived it. So, therefore, I am joining you in praying for these people (even though my money contribution did not even form a drop in an ocean). But all these drops, big and small, can make an ocean, isn?t it.
