Dear friends! This thread goes in snowy colours. Many of us haven't seen one single snow flake this Winter so now we have a chance to enjoy the white, fluffy stuff - in several meanings of the words!

Dear friends! This awful year is over and I sincerely hope the year 2012 will be a better and happier year for all of us. It can't bring our Knuti back but maybe some good news every now and then can make the wound in our heart heal a little ......
Of course, there have been some bright moments, too. Let's not forget them! LuLu, Aleut, Gregor, Siku, Sessi and all the newborn cubbies in Toronto, Kolind, Ranua, Rhenen just to mention some of them. They are precious furry jewels!

Dear friends! This is the fifth Christmas we'll be spending together but the first without our beloved Knuti bear. However, I can feel his presence here and when I close my eyes I can even see him. Let's try not be sad but enjoy the Christmas season with our love ones and even with each other in our Knuipe.
There's a special Christmas edition of KWM and I hope there's enough to read and watch for you during the next few days because even the editorial staff needs a couple of days off.

Dear friends! Now it's only a few days to go until it's Christmas Eve. I hope you have posted your Christmas cards, bought your gifts, prepared the food but most of all - I hope you can put yourselves into the right Christmas spirit. If you have no time to do everything - don't do it. BABY BEAR DON'T CARE!

Dear friends! Let's declare the Christmas Season opened! This will be a different kind of Christmas compared to the previous years but I'm sure our bear angel will help us to get into the right holiday spirit!
Teddybärenmutti has written a story about a very special lamp and the Golden Girls have been busy decorating their enclosure and making all kinds of plans..... The Christmas season is also a time when we should relax and enjoy all the lights, decorations and just spending time with families and friends. Our polar bear friends are masters of relaxation so Caren has made a video with photos of sweet sleeping bears. Watch and learn!!

Dear friends! The polar bear birthday season is here again! Although we would love to visit and celebrate each and every one of them we simply can't make it. However, we CAN celebrate them in the best possible way by helping our bear angel to help other bears! There will be more information about this in KWM shortly.

Dear friends! Soon it's time for new polar bear babies to enter the world. I'm sure we are all very excited while waiting for the news from many different zoos. Dear friends! This year has been a year of sad news but there have been moments of happiness and brightness. I guess the greatest delight of the year was the little cub found in Alaska - now living in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm more and more convinced she was sent to comfort us and I'm sure we all agree that she's doing a fantastic job!
Knuti-Judi is the lucky one who has already visited LuLu aka Qannik and, of course, she came back with a wonderful report with awesome photos:
